Certified Mindfulness Mentor & Soul Coach

Founder of Inner Rain Academy

As the founder and CEO of Inner Rain Academy, I serve as an interdisciplinary eco-feminist coach and meditation teacher and mentor. My work supports heart-centered transformation and inner resilience for those navigating personal and collective thresholds—across diverse identities and life transitions, especially in societies seeking healing, voice, and change.

‏This path opened through years of navigating personal loss, dislocation, and the emotional weight of collective struggle. In the moments I felt most fragmented, I turned to stillness, storytelling, and feminist self-care—not just to survive, but to reclaim a sense of wholeness.

‏Before stepping fully into mentoring and coaching, I spent decades working as a feminist journalist and civil society organizer in Iran—experiences that deeply shaped how I understand resilience, systemic trauma, and the reclamation of voice. These formative years inform the way I now hold space for others seeking healing and transformation.

‏Over time, my own healing journey led me beyond academic study of psychology into embodied practices—especially mindfulness and meditation.

I completed a three-year mindfulness teacher and mentoring training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Alongside that, transformational life coaching and somatic practices helped me integrate the language of growth with the lived experience of self-repair.

‏My journey echoes that of many who live at the edge of instability and transition, in societies where survival and change are inseparable. The essence of coaching, as I’ve come to know it, lies in facilitating the movement from fear and fragmentation to presence and integration—for people who, like myself, have stood at the edge of collapse and still chosen to heal.

Coaching, for me, is a sacred space for witnessing and re-membering. Rooted in eco-feminist values and mindfulness, my approach honors the body as a site of knowing and the heart as a guide through uncertainty.

‏Every client is a new journey—and I walk beside them, not ahead. It is their inner wisdom that reveals the path forward, step by step, in their own time and rhythm.

‏Healing and growth are not separate paths—they are intertwined movements of the soul, emerging through compassion, choice, and embodied awareness.

‏I design each session to leave clients grounded, clear, and carrying something meaningful—whether it’s a renewed sense of direction, a moment of insight, or the first step into their own flourishing. No one leaves lost or empty-handed.

‏I work with people who find themselves at a threshold—between silence and voice, fragmentation and renewal. Many of my clients come from Middle Eastern and diasporic communities, shaped by displacement, political rupture, and the inherited weight of cultural silence. They are often individuals of diverse gender identities who have embodied the impact of gendered, racialized, and class-based oppression: activists and advocates facing burnout, creatives in exile, or entrepreneurs navigating unjust economic systems.

‏What connects them is not a single identity, but a deep readiness to pause, listen inward, and reimagine their relationship with power, purpose, and belonging. In our work together, healing is not separate from growth—it becomes the very ground from which flourishing can begin, even in unstable soil.

‏My practice is grounded in integrity, intersectionality, and trauma-informed care. Whether you are navigating burnout, building a new path, or seeking to reconnect with your inner compass, I offer grounded support and strategic guidance. Let’s build the future you deserve—one clear step at a time.
